Wisconsin or bust

"We will get a boost this weekend in Washington, Michigan and Maine, but our true test will be the Wisconsin primary. A win there will carry us to the big states of March 2 - and narrow the field to two candidates. Anything less will put us out of this race." -- Howard Dean, in a fundraising e-mail today [Emphasis added]

I wonder why he'd say that? Now I suppose I'll have to pop over to his site or trail along in the footsteps of his followers who like his reasoning (whatever it might be).

He is absolutely broke. He may actually be in debt and thus wants to recover funds so he ends the campaign in the black. Poor Dean.

Why, David, is that old politics as usual or nouveau politics?
